LWK + PARTNERS at BLB Exclusive Experience: Exploring the Future of Leisure Development in Ras Al Khaimah
As Ras Al Khaimah accelerates its transformation into a premier global destination for luxury tourism, LWK + PARTNERS was honoured to take part in the Building Leisure Buildings (BLB) Exclusive Experience held at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah on 16 April 2025.
Representing our team were Andreja Marolt, Director of Business Development, and Kourosh Salehi, Global Design Principal, who joined a select group of global developers, investors, consultants, and operators in a highly curated forum focused on the future of leisure architecture and hospitality investment in the region.
The event offered an inspiring platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. Set against the backdrop of Ras Al Khaimah’s ambitious hospitality vision, the gathering facilitated in-depth discussions around the future of Al Marjan Island, particularly the anticipated Wynn Al Marjan Island—the first integrated casino resort in the Middle East. Participants were given behind-the-scenes insights into Ras Al Khaimah’s economic diversification strategy and the role of tourism and leisure in reshaping its identity. It also fostered the exchange of ideas around innovative design, emerging investment models, and the growing demand for holistic, experience-led hospitality destinations across the UAE.
Kourosh and Andreja’s presence reaffirmed LWK + PARTNERS’ ongoing commitment to contributing to future-defining projects in the region—bringing architectural vision, cultural intelligence, and commercial strategy to some of the most exciting leisure developments underway.
