Philip Wong shared insights for the Review of the Design of Isolation Wards in Hospital
Modern Hospitals Design is not only challenging, they are also immensely difficult to maintain in terms of latest standards and design requirements, given the rapid development of illnesses and growing medical demands. Philip Wong, Director and leader of our Healthcare & Senior Living Team, recently presented at The Hong Kong Architectural Services Department (ArchSD) for the Review of the Design of Isolation Wards in Hospital.
Philip shared insights on Isolation Ward design, international design standards and benchmarking, various room layouts (with Ante room), ventilation system requirements and other configurations contributing to a built environment that maximises safety, hygiene and comfort for both patients and medical staff.
