Continued Conversations with Industry Experts on the Greater Bay Area
Our Director, Mr. Ivan Fu, continues to take advantage of our prime position to observe and speculate for the Greater Bay Area, and shares his insights with fellow members of the industry at various events.
As a first-hand witness to the development of mainland China since 2001, Ivan shared at the “Opportunities for Transportation Development in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Conference” held by HKIHT in Zhuhai last Thursday (15 Nov). Not only did Ivan share his personal experience trailblazing new grounds and growing with the country, he also took his own experience as an example of how Hong Kong architecture practitioners can hop onto the opportunities presented by the development of the Greater Bay Area.
This Wednesday (21 Nov), Ivan also spoke at the CITAC Anniversary Conference on Integrated Digital Delivery of Construction Project – the only local Hong Kong representative among other speakers. His session, titled Making Greater Bay Area Smart, explored the possibilities arising from BIM applications and data management, and how these possibilities can contribute to the construction industry and smart city development.
After the launch of the Greater Bay Area Innovation Centre, LWK continues to keep an eye on the development of the Greater Bay Area, so that we can provide well-informed solutions to clients when they approach us with projects in the region.
