Double win at 14th International Design Awards 2020

It’s a double win for LWK + PARTNERS! Both Jiangshan Yun Chu – Legend Gallery and Chengdu CIFI Plaza have won the 14th International Design Awards 2020:

Jiangshan Yun Chu – Legend Gallery, Chongqing, China (click for project details)

    • Bronze Prize, Architecture (Museum, Exhibits, Pavilions and Exhibitions Category)

Designed by LWK + PARTNERS Chongqing office, this is a two-storey building sitting on a clifftop. It explores the relationship between nature and urban space by translating the images of cliffs, riverbends, mountains and sunsets as simple curves cutting across the sky.

    Chengdu CIFI Plaza, Chengdu, China

    • Bronze Prize, Architecture (Retails, Shops, Department Stores, Mall Category)

The project embraces the local arts scene with a ‘music in a park’ theme that integrates culture and entertainment in a multifarious retail programme. It incorporates elements of music box, a hanging live broadcast booth, music market and the memories of Chengdu with a distinctive façade design. The project is designed by LWK + PARTNERS Shenzhen studio with concept planning done by our Hong Kong team.
