Since the beginning of the global pandemic, it has shown the vulnerability of humankind. It underlines the urgency to take care of the World and prepare for the imperceptible threats we might be facing.
The role of Architects has always been versatile, the engagement is much boarder than only providing shelter. It is their responsibility to address social, economic and environmental problems.
In the ever-changing environment, architects need to keep exploring different technologies to increase and enhance the design output. Especially, software with environmental data analysis or immersive experience programmes are tools we must embrace. These technologies have the potential to generate useful data to help us come up with a more sustainable and holistic design.
