Usama Aziz is leading the establishment of LWK + PARTNERS’ Saudi Arabia studio in tandem with MENA region’s Managing Director. Usama has been engaged in significant development projects across the MENA and South Asia for over 25 years, delivering seamless innovative solutions to the real estate and development industry. Aziz brings an executive clarity to the development process positioning LWK + PARTNERS ideally to support development opportunities and project collaborations that meet and respond to the current development imperatives emerging across the kingdom in governmental, semi-governmental and private sectors.

Usama is passionate about the need for sound urban planning and regeneration encompassing mobility and high-quality public realm engagement in the context of engaged and evolving communities. His aim is to bring LWK + PARTNERS’ brand of thought leadership and quality through good design and stakeholder management reflecting the practice’s deep commitment to delivering smart solutions underpinned by the practical application of technology.

Prior to joining LWK + PARTNERS his portfolio encompasses numerous award-winning projects including Dubai Properties’ Xeritown, Al Qudra Holdings Ain Al Fayda which received the Holcim Award for Sustainable Construction and Wasit Wetland Reserve which received the Aga Khan Award. At LWK + PARTNERS he secured major contracts with several entities most recently Emaar’s downtown Burj Crown. In addition, he has contributed to corporate governance and fiscal agendas as well as structured and executed projects in public-private partnerships and related sectors.
