Hengqin iCity Wins the Best BIM Architectural Design Awards
The 4th International BIM Award cum Conference organised by BuildingSMART Hong Kong was successfully held yesterday, where LWK’s project, Hengqin iCity, won the title of Best BIM Architectural Design Awards. Our Directors, Mr. Kenneth Lo and Mr. Tuanmin Wu, attended the award ceremony along with the project team. iCity has a site area of over 56,000 sq m, and a GFA of over 130,000 sq m. With culture and creativity as key of the project, quality multimedia equipments and technologies have been installed to shape creative studios, so as to establish a new young culture landmark.
LWK’s project team optimised the design on the BIM model prior to the construction of the project, and successfully avoided and resolved complications that may occur during the construction process. We are very honoured that our capability in BIM technologies has once again gained recognition from the judges, and we will continue to promote the use of BIM technologies in all aspects of architecture.
