LWK + PARTNERS inspires students with City Builder Project
LWK + PARTNERS cares about our people as well as our community. We worked with non-governmental organisation St. James’ Settlement to help secondary school students understand architecture through visiting Lui Seng Chun, a heritage conservation site in Hong Kong, as well as showcasing their imagination for revitalising Lui Seng Chun at the City Builder Project 2018-19 exhibition.
Students presented their concepts and ideas together through miniatures of Lui Seng Chun using 3D printing technology in workshops guided by LWK + PARTNERS volunteers. We are delighted to see our younger generation share their perceptions of the neighbourhood and what a better home city looks like, with creativity and critical thinking. As architects, it is inspiring for us to rethink from a different perspective to design future architecture and community.
