Pushing Urban Boundaries: LWK + PARTNERS at MEAEC BuildTechXchange 2025

At LWK + PARTNERS, we are continually exploring how new technologies and construction methodologies can unlock smarter, faster, and more sustainable cities. That’s why we were proud to take part in MEAEC BuildTechXchange 2025, a key industry forum hosted at Conrad Dubai, that brought together leaders redefining the future of architecture and urban development.

Our very own Marija Krsmanovic, Senior Architect, took center stage as moderator of the session:

“Modular Construction and Urban Development: Redefining City Skylines”

Joined by an esteemed panel of experts including:

    • Amer Mneimneh, Director of Middle East and North Africa, Prior + Partners

    • Ihab Ramlawi, Co-Founder & Managing Director, DuPod

    • Mohd Imran Shaikh, Director of MEP, Middle East, Ramboll

Marija led a dynamic conversation on how modular construction is no longer just about speed and efficiency, but also about creative potential, customized design, and reshaping the urban experience. The session explored how this approach is being deployed across the region from high-density cities to emerging developments and what it means for the future of architecture, infrastructure, and design processes.

For us at LWK + PARTNERS, this is more than just a conversation it’s part of our long-term commitment to innovation, adaptability, and future-ready urban solutions. As cities evolve, we remain focused on solutions that are sustainable, scalable, and rooted in human-centric design.

Thank you to MEAEC and all panelists for the opportunity to exchange insights and spark new ideas.
