PULSE Wadi is a contextual urban development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seamlessly integrating architecture, landscape, technological innovation and culture. Designed with a central public realm heart, the project fosters connectivity, sustainability, and inclusivity through innovative urban planning and architectural expression.

The masterplan takes inspiration from Najdi principals, integrating courtyards, shaded walkways, and human-scale street hierarchies to enhance the sense of place. The design prioritizes sustainability, featuring sustainable initiatives for roofs, shading, arcades, etc and water-efficient landscaping in alignment with the Saudi Green Initiative.

A central feature of PULSE Wadi is the "Green Chip of Riyadh", a smart urban node integrating technology, sustainability, and mobility solutions to create a walkable, energy-efficient environment. The urban grid is inspired by Riyadh’s historical Wadi networks, connecting community, commerce, and culture through adaptive and resilient design.

The development supports Riyadh’s Vision 2030 by promoting a mixed-use, pedestrian-first environment, offering a dynamic setting for retail, cultural spaces, and public amenities.
LWK + PARTNERS has played a key role in shaping the urban fabric, introducing innovative design solutions that redefine future contextualism in Middle Eastern urbanism.
