Located in the area of Lu Dan Village, Luohu District, with a significant view upon riverside and a direct access to metro line 9 in process, SCTC (former Lu Dan Building) aimed to become one of the key eco-landmarks along Binhe Avenue. The whole project consists of 3-storey basement, 7-storey commercial podium and 26-storey office building. The height of the building is 150m, taking up a site area of 2,912.2 sq m with GFA 48,264 sq m

To reduce noise pollution from the main road and to expand vision partly-blocked, we brought up the concept of "Two-sided + Upwards". "Two-sided" means that the north side of the building is to complement the Binhe Avenue which symbolizes city image and to cater the general preference towards south-facing orientation of residential buildings. The “upwards” concept stands for ingeniously adjusting orientations of the offices on middle levels, to expand office space to the maximum as well as to accentuate the aesthetic tone.
