We have been featured in Construction Week’s April issue for our latest project in the Middle East, the DIFC Living and Innovation Two development. The project is part of the DIFC Innovation Hub and is set to become a landmark for the area.
In this exclusive interview, we discuss the client’s brief and their ambitions for the project, which require a unique complex mixed-use development that not only offers luxury living but also integrates sustainable design and high-quality amenities. The design Team also call attention to the challenges they faced in achieving pedestrian connectivity between Al Mustaqbal Street and DIFC’s Gate Avenue, and the innovative solutions they employed to facilitate multiple access points.
Kourosh Salehi our MENA Design Director highlights in the interview our commitment to sustainability, which is evident throughout the design, with LEED certification being a key requirement. We also discuss the incorporation of biophilic design principles into the project, which integrates nature and natural elements into the built environment. We also speak about the role of technology utilised in the design development of the project.
