Ivan Fu joined CIC’s Movie Roving: architecture as great storyteller
Movies are photographic time capsules of our cities. While some buildings last for centuries, many are replaced by newer structures as time goes by. People around the world have become more aware of preserving history in the process of design and development, and our cross-sector teams stay very keen to make it happen. LWK + PARTNERS Director Ivan Fu joined cultural critic Eric Tsang at a Zero Carbon Studio movie-screening session organised by the Construction Industry Council , revisiting a classic film showing historical Hong Kong landmarks that many would remember, some of which can only be seen again in archival materials. As society changes, Ivan reminds us how historical buildings are great storytellers of their times.
