Kerem Cengiz spoke at The Big 5 Digital Festival Africa
We are delighted to join The Big 5 Digital Festival Africa as it gathered the largest infrastructure and construction community in Africa. Our Managing Director – MENA Kerem Cengiz was an outstanding speaker line-up on the first day of the virtual festival, who discussed how Africa can embrace the next generation of retail and the legacy of Coronavirus to deliver insights, inspiration and direction. Kerem highlighted that retail has always been in a dynamic state of flux, evolving to change in society, economic conditions, urban population increase and technology. Even before the outbreak of COVID-19, retailers were embracing a movement towards a balance of mixed uses to meet the commercial expectations of operators as traditional retail formats retracted as e-commerce grew.
