Kerem Cengiz tells Middle East Architect his vision for Dubai
LWK + PARTNERS Managing Director – MENA Kerem Cengiz shared his thoughts with Middle East Architect on Dubai’s transformation into a global destination and its response to economic challenges. He also introduced the Sunset Promenade as part of a series of public works which LWK + PARTNERS designed for Dubai’s RTA.
The Sunset Promenade is a beachfront recreational development designed to cater for family entertainment. Envisioned as a series of hills and dunes covered in grass and sand, the project offers leisure, activity and dining spaces within these structures. A string of floating activity platforms is devised in response to site constraints and the narrow beach depth.
