LWK + PARTNERS grows into world’s 31st largest architecture firm
The latest World Architecture (WA) 100 2021 report has just named LWK + PARTNERS the 31st largest architecture practice in the world, up five places from last year! We also rank the world’s 8th in both residential and retail markets as well as 9th in mixed-use.
“The Hong Kong practice has opened an office in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia [in 2020], two years after setting up in Dubai,” the report said. LWK + PARTNERS now runs an expanding global portfolio of 12 studios located in China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East & Africa region.
Our roots in Hong Kong continues to give us competitive advantage in China, which is traditionally our key market. As the report observes, “Urban development and infrastructure in the Greater Bay area of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao is a particular focus” for LWK + PARTNERS.
In the report, we also shared our views regarding the future of cities. We see the future defined by richer human experience, strengthened resilience and lasting social value. Sustainable architecture and transit-oriented developments (TODs) will play important parts.
