Paul Ma shares spatial design trends with Tatler Singapore
With rising concerns for health and safety, what can we expect in the future for spatial design in dense cities? What are the strategies and measures adopted by designers to help clients boost flexibility under the current economic climate?
Nearly a year into the pandemic, LWK + PARTNERS Design Director Paul Ma talked to Tatler Singapore about the changing perceptions about homes, workspaces and the notion of functionality. With more than 15 years of experience in interior design, he considers the present as “an unprecedented opportunity to review the function of our living spaces”.
In the future, society will put heavier emphasis on spatial planning while priority will be given to health and safety. More nimble working spaces are needed and new technologies will be more impactful to the built environment.
