One Victoria, Hong Kong, China  (click for project details)

Outstanding Architecture – Residential (Hong Kong), Merit Winner

Located at No. 21 Shing Fung Road in Kai Tak, One Victoria consists of two high-rise blocks and a six-storey low-rise oceanfront mansions, providing a total of 1,059 units and a clubhouse with over 50,000 sq ft. Landscape derived from the ocean’s natural movements.

An intentionally monochrome palette is paried with reflective materials. Hues of marine blue reflected from the environment paints the facade, creating a metaphorical ocean upon which white aluminium clad spandrels dynamically ripple accross the surface. Reflective feature frames invoke a series of streamlined ‘shorelines’ between vertical phases of the towers. The ocean theme of the property pays homage to the sites’ exquisite location and surrounding views.

Monaco Kai Tak Harbour, Hong Kong, China

Outstanding Architecture – Residential (Hong Kong), Bronze Winner

The proposed residential project is situated on Muk Tai Street in Kai Tak. It features two high-rise residential towers and four low-rise mansions, collectively offering 646 units. The architecture of the buildings has been carefully planned to optimize views of the Kai Tak River and Victoria Harbour. Simultaneously, the design incorporates a verdant courtyard, harmonizing with the green spaces of the neighbouring developments.
