Vulnerable groups in society are often the hardest hit during uncertain times like this. Last Friday our Hong Kong studio staff volunteered to hand out free meal boxes sponsored by the practice, during the Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign, offering immediate support and relief to people in need.
Volunteers wore facemasks, sanitised hands regularly and practiced strict social distancing to maintain the highest standards of health and safety throughout the session.
Construction Industry Lo Pan Rice Campaign is part of the Lo Pan Service Month 2020 organised by Construction Industry Council, which aims to promote mutual care and support in society. Free meal boxes are given to disadvantaged groups like single elderly people, unemployed people, low-income groups, people with disabilities, patients with mental illness, underprivileged families, people living in subdivided units and ethnic minorities. LWK + PARTNERS, which supports social welfare programmes via different channels and encourages its staff to serve the community, is extremely glad to be part of this meaningful initiative to spread positive energy to those around us!
