LWK + PARTNERS Director HC Chan shared his viewpoints on future community planning in the UK with The Developer & Housebuilder Yearbook 2021. In the article, he highlighted the importance of the street and public spaces on the back of urban regeneration/renewal and the pressure of gentrification common for UK cities, referencing Hong Kong’s Kai Tak new area as an example of new-generation communities promoting ‘life, energy and style’ in a high-density city.
