Empowering Future Architects: Ajman University Students Immerse in the World of Design at LWK + PARTNERS Dubai Studio
This October at LWK + PARTNERS Dubai Studio was a buzz with innovation, creativity, and youthful energy as we opened our doors to an exceptional group of second and fourth-year Architecture students from Ajman University.
It was a day of exploration and learning as these ambitious young talents stepped into our state-of-the-art studio, where they were given a unique opportunity to delve into the world of architectural design and innovation. Through an immersive studio tour and an interactive workshop, the students were exposed to the cutting-edge tools and methodologies that are shaping the future of architecture.
The students embarked on a guided tour of our Dubai Studio, led by our expert team members. They were taken through our recent research and projects, giving them a firsthand experience of the diverse range of architectural styles and innovative solutions that LWK + PARTNERS is renowned for. The students were encouraged to ask questions, share their perspectives, and understand the nuances of practical architectural design.
One of the day’s highlights was the interactive workshop, orchestrated by our very own Michael Naguib. The workshop was centered around the practical implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) throughout the design process. Michael showcased real-world case studies, demonstrating how AR/VR can revolutionize the way architects visualize and create spaces. The students were captivated as they tried on VR headsets and engaged in hands-on activities.
