A growing number of the world’s most influential buildings and urban projects are designed, run or led by women, whose work, ideas, strength and leadership have lent vital inspirations to the field.
To mark International Women’s Day and the annual theme of #ChooseToChallenge, we spoke to female colleagues of LWK + PARTNERS around the world in a video (click to watch). We explored what ‘challenge’ means to them, and in doing so we listened to their perspectives to life.
Receptiveness to change is something all our respondents share and value. Previous challenges have brought surprising results, fulfilling experiences and positive impact in life as an architect, designer or simply as an individual looking for growth and improvement.
Gender equality is the fifth goal among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda of United Nations.
