MONACO & GRANDE MONACO: Breathing Riverine Scenery into a Residence
A design to take in a view of the Victoria Harbor and the Kai Tak River, and public zones thoughtfully conceived for recreation and connection among residents – these define MONACO & GRANDE MONACO, a residential development nestled by the riverside in the booming Kai Tak Development area, Hong Kong.
As its project and design architect, our Hong Kong architecture team leverages the residence’s geographical advantages by maximizing visual permeability.
Mansions and two 33- and 34-story residential towers are set back to reduce blockage and create visual corridors toward the River, the iconic Kai Tak Sports Park, and the world-famous Harbor, while an air corridor is designed between the residential towers for natural ventilation.
The residence provides direct access to the future Kai Tak River Park. Packed with an open central courtyard with a 50-meter-long outdoor swimming pool, a covered playground with greenery for children, and a well-equipped clubhouse, the residence becomes a catalyst for a healthier, more delightful living experience.
