    Six projects receive recognition at the 16th International Design Awards (IDA) 2022

    Six innovative projects by LWK+PARTNERS earned praise at the 16th International Design Awards (IDA) 2022 with one bronze and five honorable mentions!

    The preeminent Awards focus on promoting smart, sustainable, legendary design visionaries and talent worldwide.

    Zhongshan OCT Harbour Shopping Mall, Zhongshan, China (click for more info)

    • Architecture – Retails, Shops, Department stores, Mall (Bronze)

    The project aims to build an urban resort emphasizing natural interaction and characteristic commercial space on the west coast of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

    Huya Headquarters, Foshan, China (click for more info)

    • Architecture – Mix-Use Architectural Designs (Honorable Mention)

    The project in Foshan, Guangdong province, will be a future homeland for HUYA -a leading live-streaming firm valuing cooperation and innovation- by combing a horizontal campus with a vertical tower.

    C-Bay Smart Cities Limited, Greater Bay Area, China (click for more info)

    • Print – Corporate Identity (Honorable Mention)

    This corporate identity design for our sister company C-Bay Smart Cities in Shenzhen, the Greater Bay Area is inspired by the letter “i” in “innovation”. Its visual form conjures the binary language in computing and the 50th of 64 hexagrams in the I Ching, or Book of Changes.

    • Print – Wayfinding & Environmental Graphics (Honorable Mention) 

    The mixed-use structure in Zhuhai, China is envisioned to connect the world, following the concept of “the Guardian of iCity” to lead travelers to different universes through functional and enjoyable wayfinding experiences.

    • Architecture – Museum, Exhibits, Pavilions and Exhibitions (Honorable Mention)

    Through minimalist design language, the project situated in Quanhu Park, Guanshan Lake District, Guiyang conforms to the characteristics of the site and nature, serving as “a living room of the city”.

    • Architecture – Residential Building (Honorable Mention)

    The project’s overall planning emphasizes urban fabric, with its facade design featuring a golden proportion smile curve to form a rhythm like piano keys.
