Aoti Vanke Centre won the People’s Choice award in the online voting for 2021 World Architecture Festival China Design Awards with overwhelming support from architecture lovers from China and around the world!
Aoti Vanke Centre, Hangzhou, China (click for project details) is an innovative working hub designed by Ferdinand Cheung’s team. It embraces the hybrid mode in the future of work with a ring-shaped podium lifted off the ground to create a multifunctional central courtyard. Every floor of the podium is rotated to a different degree forming a spectacular walkscape.
World Architecture Festival China Design Awards is an exclusive authorised award of World Architecture Festival, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious architecture and design events. It celebrates a different theme every year with 2021’s being ‘Resetting the City: Greening, Health & Urbanism’.
