The sales gallery of The Riviera (click for project details) in Shantou, China is recently showcased on international architectural design platforms Architizer and Global Design News, as well as the official website of PRC Magazine, a popular architecture magazine in Hong Kong.
The architecture uses craftsmanship and bespoke elements to create a picturesque envelope inspired by the elegant form of traditional Chinese folding fans. Extensive use of glass curtain walls invites ample sunlight into the building, promoting visibility and spatial interaction between outdoors and indoors. The subtracted building mass forms a wide, progressive archway, creating public space and guiding visitors towards this work of art.
