LWK + PARTNERS Engages with Aspiring Talent at AUS Career Exploration 2024
On November 4, 2024, LWK + PARTNERS proudly participated in the American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) Career Exploration for Architecture, Art & Design—a platform dedicated to bridging the gap between academia and industry for aspiring architects and designers.
Marija Krsmanovic, Senior Architect at LWK + PARTNERS, represented the firm as part of a distinguished panel alongside Alejandro Garcia, VP HR at AECOM, and Marwan Houry, Principal at AE7. The event featured a panel discussion, where Marija shared her career journey, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, resilience, and innovation in architecture.
Following the discussion, students engaged in workshops on personal branding and enjoyed a networking session with representatives from leading firms, including AECOM, AE7, X-Architects, and LWK + PARTNERS.
Reflecting on the event, Marija said, “Engaging with students at AUS is always a rewarding experience. It’s inspiring to see such passion and curiosity for the built environment, and I’m honored to contribute to their career exploration journey.”
