LWK + PARTNERS Webinar: Innovative Integrated Project Delivery
Architects from LWK + PARTNERS GBA studio shared how cross-border collaboration can move towards a smarter direction in a webinar titled ‘Innovative Integrated Project Delivery’ on 30 October. The mode of work currently practiced by team members across our Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen offices are making way for a new industry standard for future large-scale projects.
Design Director Ricky Wang noted that the mode of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) is fast becoming the industry trend. LWK + PARTNERS is drawing on over 20 years of experience in mainland China to establish a world-class design hub, leveraging the advantages of IPD to serve clients over the whole life-cycle of buildings.
According to Associate Director Henry Man, two key issues must be addressed in project management: “First, project information management; second collaborating these information across multiple parties.”
Bruce Wong, Associate Director, shared the benefits of using JARVIS, a cloud-based platform for building information management and collaboration, developed by our sister company isBIM Limited. The platform allows different parties to share real-time project details, design materials and construction status, which enables the practice to effectively monitor work progress, costs and quality.
