dspace shares award-winning design of Hebei Grand Hotel, Anyue
Taiwan design magazine dspace features our design for Hebei Grand Hotel, Anyue in Shijiazhuang, China (Click for project details), which recently won MIPIM Asia Awards 2020 and LIT Lighting Design Awards 2020.
LWK + PARTNERS as Design Architect, Landscape Architect and Lighting Designer, the synthesis of classic Chinese architecture and modern elements underpins this urban getaway, in both site planning and architectural design, to create spaces that embrace both culture and nature.
The hotel features a pair of twin towers, 60 villas and various hotel facilities orthogonally arranged along a north-south-oriented central axis. Secluded pocket spaces are created by shifted and staggered villas, all connected by a smooth flow of courtyard gardens and covered walkways.
